We Design Prices

Web Design Prices :: Web Design Prices can fluctuate wildly between agencies. Modern businesses know that they can’t be legitimate until they have an online presence. When evaluating the cost of building/updating a website you should consider the many factors that determine the web design prices. Having a website built can be confusing and you may not know where to start, how much it should cost or even what type of website best suits your needs. However, I can offer no-obligation advice on how to approach this matter.

In the UK and abroad, different design agencies and professionals will have varying rates, so it’s a good idea to become familiar with the various stages of website design and the associated costs.

Web Design Prices

Web design is a service, not a product

Looking at your website build as a service will help you understand why it is difficult to put a single price to it.

There is a lot of planning and detail involved

Price will depend on the level of detail and time spent on various features.

Quotes are subjective

You could potentially receive a quote from £1,000 all the way up to £50,000 for the same project requirements from different agencies.

*All quotes above are ball-park figures for web design prices. Please note, there is also a £50/Month Maintenance Fee.

Who will you choose to build your first website? I am a freelancer so I only charge £30/hour – this is a lot cheaper than if you went to a bigger agency. You should bear in mind that each choice has its own pros and cons:

  • Web Design Agency: Clunky & Cumbersome – most won’t build a site for less than £10k.
  • Freelance Developer: More personalised service, cheaper and the client is a priority.

The above figures are ‘ball-park’ guides – as in, I have a lot of experience building websites and these are the prices taken to build the sites I have already created.

If you are needing a redesign of an existing site then it will be about the same price as the building of a Medium sized site.
