ABOUT ANDY
Andy Backhouse is a broadcaster, DJ and record digger. Andy is heard on air around the world - from London's Voices Radio in Kings Cross - to music lovers in Mexico City, on his weekly Monday show on La Bestia Radio.
On the road, Andy maintains a busy DJing diary at the festivals, from Green Man to Deer Shed and End of the Road, to introducing the bands and artists onstage for the legendary Reading and Leeds Festivals.
His live gig night is a monthly fixture at The Shacklewell Arms in London, he's curated compilations, and has presented shows on BBC 6 Music, Ibero 90.FM in Mexico City, and online station Amateurism Radio.
